Today I saw another big drop in my raw weight. Today I went down another 0.7kg (1.5 pounds) which makes a total of 1.5kg (3.3 pounds) in two days. While I’m very happy with the progress thus far there are a couple of nuances to the total weight numbers.
Firstly, it must be noted that my bodyfat remained the same from Day 2 to Day 3. What I deduce from this is some loss of lean mass along with water weight. Coming off such a large scale weight this is to be expected, however my goal is to preserve as much lean mass as possible on the way down. Therefore, if this trend continues I’ll have to reassess my current nutrition schedule, i.e. one meal a day in the morning and one big workout in the evening.
All in all though, I’m happy with my progress thus far.
