Day 361: DOMS After Shock!

G’day,

When I woke this morning I knew instantly that I was in for a long and “painful” day! It felt like every square inch of my body was lit on fire, so much so that just getting through my work day was very difficult.

Of course, this is all due to yesterday’s workout (my first in 16 days) and the subsequent DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) that arrived today. I am not completely shocked at the presence of DOMS but I am surprised at it’s severity. It is almost to the level of my first few workouts one year ago.

With all that said I am happy to be back again, though I will wait a few days before hitting the same muscle groups again!
