Day 338: Second Morning Workout…In 8 Degrees!

G’day,

I’m on a roll! Again this morning I was up at 4:00 AM for HyperShred workout #2. It was especially cold this morning at just 8 Degrees Celsius! This is borderline freezing for us Queenslanders who rarely have it this cold (usually Canberra and Melbourne cop weather like this).

One thing I notice about myself in these early morning is that the longer I “contemplate” getting out of bed the less likely I am to do it. The only thing that works for me is to “rip the bandaid” straight off, that is, jump out of bed, get changed, splash water on my face and go! 

Once I actually get into my workout it always amazes me just how quickly my body warms up. By the time I leave the gym I am carrying my long pants and hoodie as my body is now too hot to wear them!

Let’s make it three in a row tomorrow!
