G’day,
It’s starting to get a little chilly over here in Oz! I noticed it this afternoon during my swim, probably the coldest I’ve been since August last year.
The cool thing now is that I’m doing so many more laps in the pool (compared to last year) that it doesn’t take long to warm up! Today I completed 500m in around 16 minutes where last year 500m would have taken me 25 minutes!
I’ll see if my improved stamina in the pool translates to the surf this weekend!
Until tomorrow,
AJ

PB on the squat, PB on the bench press-
It’s The ongoing Adventures of Adam Waters!
I like the sound of that mate! I can only imagine the sort of poundage you lifted to become world champion! I’m guessing 2-3 times your bodyweight?!
Muscle sculpting has always been about intensity, form, and overload. And many times that can be accomplished with minimum rest between sets or Turbo-Sets with moderate weights. As Franco Colombu once said “When I weight lift- I weight lift. When I bodybuild, I bodybuild”.
He said it back in the 1980’s and it seems like no one heard him. The interpretation was that when he did powerlifting, he concentrated on strength for lifting heavier and heavier weights. But when he was sculpting muscle for “show” that involved more isolation movements, very deliberate reps and working the muscles to fatigue. Two weight sports with totally different goals and outcomes.
100% mate, the difference between raw strength (Muscle) and sculpting (Turbo)! I look forward to giving both of these another crack over the next few Missions👍
Looking forward to it.
