As you may have noticed from my CAPS score I docked myself two points this week for two missed cardio sessions, so today (6 days in) was actually my first cardio session on M3!
I also did something today that I don’t usually do, I went up two increments on my HIIT run cycle! I did it partly to challenge myself, but also as a “punishment” for two missed workouts!
Turns out I still haven’t hit my HIIT threshold as my new top speed of 12.6 km/h did not completely gas me. I vividly remember doing these HIIT cycles back in the day and being completely spent after the final two minutes on the top speed. Believe it or not, I am actually seeking that level of exhaustion/exhilaration again!
