Day 156: No Training Today…Is My Motivation Waning?

G’day,

Today was the first day during this Mission where I dealt myself a double whammy. Not only didn’t I train, I also didn’t have a valid excuse to skip it. While work has been very busy the last couple of weeks today I actually had ample time to get my training in.

I just didn’t feel like it today so I didn’t go. This is not a great sign! It more than likely means my motivation is waning to an extent and I long for the day when I can “relax.” But I have been around the block a few times in this caper, and I know full well that that mindset is a road to nowhere at best, and off the cliff at worst. Neither of those options are appealing to me!

Thinking about it tonight what I need to do is revitalise my morning mindset, motivation and goals “exercises.” I have stuck solid with the words I wrote out on paper prior to Day 1, however, perhaps those thoughts aren’t motivating enough for me now that I have lost the bulk of the weight?

I’ll do my best grind through until Friday, and then revise my “modules” on the weekend. I have to nip this in the bud pronto!

Until tomorrow,

AJ
